Coming back from a vacation, I have always had to struggle to get my natural complexion back. For days I would only wear black as other colours looked extremely hideous and wouldn’t compliment my skin tone. I do have a habit of applying sun block but even then when you visit tropical places like Goa, one does get tanned. I used 5 of these home remedies for ten days and got my complexion back. If you too cannot get rid of that ugly tan then make sure you apply these home remedies that will remove tan completely.
1. Papaya And Honey Body Pack
Take half a cup of ripe papaya and mash it well. Add a tablespoon of honey to it and apply it on the affected areas. Leave the paste on for 30 to 35 minutes and rinse with cold water. Papaya has an enzyme called papaya that has skin-lightening properties. Apply this pack every day to see outstanding results.
2. Aloe Vera And Red Lentil Body Pack
Using Aloe Vera on your skin will cleanse and nourish your skin. Red Lentil (Masoor Dal) on the other hand exfoliates your skin. To make this face pack, soak one tablespoon of Red Lentil in water for 20 to 25 minutes. Using the mixer, make a paste and add fresh aloe vera gel to the paste. Mix well and apply it on the affected areas. Leave the pack on for 15 minutes and then rinse.
3. Milk And Bread Body Scrub
This is probably the easiest thing you could do to remove tan instantly. Pour milk in a bowl and immerse one slice of bread in to it. The bread will soak most of the milk, become soggy and will break on its own. Use your hand to take the mixture and scrub it in circular motion on the affected areas. Do this twice a day and you will see a remarkable difference.
4. Cucumber And Rose Water Body Pack
Add cucumber to the mixer and our 5-6 drops of rose water to the semi-liquid paste. Cucumber is a natural bleaching agent. When mixed with the goodness of rose water, it does wonders to your skin and removes the tan completely.
5. Tomato, Yogurt And Lime Juice Body Pack
Tomato and lime juice are known to remove dark spots and pigmentation naturally. Take one tomato, 3-4 tablespoons of yogurt and half a lime. Avoid using lime if your skin is burnt or have a super sensitive skin as that may cause irritation. Squish the tomato and add yogurt and lime to it making it a semi-liquid paste. Leave the paste on for 20 minutes and rinse.
